Who qualifies for a Wireman’s License:
A student interested in enrolling , must be a qualified artisan in 1 of the following trades:
1. Electrician 2. Millwright 3. Lift Mechanic (Article 13 or Article 28 Trade Test)
He/She must be in possession of a N2 certificate for a single-phase tester with the following subjects:
1. Mathematics 2. Eng. Science 3. Elec. Trade Theory 4. & a fourth subject.
Alternatively He/She must be in possession of a N3 certificate for a 3-phase Installation Electrician with the following subjects:
1.Mathematics 2. Eng. Science 3. Elec. Trade Theory/Electro Technology 4. & a fourth subject.
How to enrol :
Fill in the Standard Enrolment Form clearly stating Paper 1 and Paper 2 (NB 50% is a pass mark).
Who qualifies for a Masters Wireman’s License:
A student interested in enrolling , must be a qualified artisan in 1 of the following trades:
1. Electrician 2. Millwright 3. Lift Mechanic (Article 13 or Article 28 Trade Test)
He/She must be in possession of a N6 certificate for a Masters Electrician. One of the three subjects going through to N6 must be either:
Industrial Electronics or Electrotechnics or fault Finding and Protective Devices.
This candidate must be in possession of a 3-phase Installation Electrician’s License for at least 2 years.
How to enrol :
Fill in the Standard Enrolment Form clearly stating Paper 1 and Paper 2 Specialised Installation Rules (NB 50% is a pass mark).
ACCREDITATION FOR THE LICENSE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ABOVE EXAMS.
